Dash Drones (Pty) Ltd is revolutionising facade maintenance in South Africa, making drone-powered window cleaning the new industry standard. Safer for workers, better for clients, and kinder to the environment.
What is Dash Drones
Dash Drones is an extraordinary technology startup set to revolutionise window cleaning across South Africa. By leveraging autonomous drone technology, we solve the critical pain points of having to lift people 50 metres in the air to clean windows and eliminating slow cleaning times and high costs for businesses. Our purpose is to provide a quick clean at a lower cost, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation. We are reducing the dangers of lifting people into the air.
The Reason Behind Dash Drones
The reason for starting Dash Drones was observing that people being lifted 50 metres in the air is dangerous, slow, and disruptive and can be extremely expensive. Property managers were paying too much for facade and window cleaning that took days even weeks, closed sidewalks, and risked lives. We replaced ropes with tethered drones.

Our vision is to build a drone services company that outlasts its founder and transforms how South Africa maintains its buildings, creates skilled jobs in drone technology, and proves that innovation and safety can go hand in hand.

Our mission is to revolutionise facade maintenance in South Africa by making drone-powered window cleaning the new industry standard and making it safer for workers, better for clients, and kinder to the environment.
We are building a multi-year growth roadmap starting with commercial high-rises in Gauteng, primarily Pretoria, Sandton, and Johannesburg’s CBDs and university campuses including Tshwane University of Technology, and premium residential estates and markets that demand quality and consistency.
